Stirrup Iron Contracting in January received there WH&S audit result of 81% from FMG.
Their consultant David Maher says this is a magnificent result and builds on their last audit result of 77%.
David says that normally this standard of system is only expected from larger contractors on the FMG sites such as Georgiou for such a small company with no more than 10 guys on site its a real achievement. The benefit for Stirrup has been a huge saving in cost as they have not had to put a full time WH&S supervisor on site David Maher their system consultant runs the whole show from Perth just flying to site once each month. David says having excellent systems in place puts Stirrup in the box seat for having its contracts extended with more work.
